O.K. God is soooo good. I have been wanting blinds in my living room for a long time and really didn’t want to spend the money on them. So I have been coaching in my living room with bright light streaming in, on both my clients and myself… UGG!
I went into Lowe’s today with my hubby and they were having a parking lot sale. When we walked by, this employee said that he would give us a great deal on anything we bought, because they wanted to get rid of it.
They had beautiful Day and Night Fabric Roman Shades that were regularly $50.00 on sale for $5.00. I was able to do my whole living room area (15 shades) for $75.
Frugie Fun… I called my sister, who I knew was saving for blinds for her living room. I had bought all the blinds in the Antique Pearl color that we both wanted and brought them to her house to see if they fit. They did and now she is the proud owner of blinds for her living room for $100. She thought they were going to cost her $800. Now that is a great frugie day.
But wait there is more. We got her gas fire log’s for her living room that sold for $200 for $5 and a light for her Bathroom vanity for $10 that was regularly $60. I bought extra of all these things and I am going to sell them at my garage sale that I am having next weekend. I figure that I can recoup my cost of my blinds in the garage sale. And if I don’t, I can bring them back next week to Lowes…
