How to Plan a BBQ on a Budget

BBQing is the best! I always want to invite myself over when my neighbor’s are doing it, don’t you? Here are three quick tips on how to make your next BBQ one that won’t break your fun budget.

  1. Buy the inexpensive cuts of meat on sale and marinate them overnight. Marinated me always cooks and taste better.
  2. Use cheap plastic plates that you pick up at the dollar store to serve your food on. By the end of the summer you will save ton’s of money by not having to buy paper plates. It is also really good for the environment.
  3. Look in your closet ans see what you already have. Do you already have some streamers and balloons from your daughters last birthday? Try stringing up some Christmas lights around your deck railing. You are only limited by your creativity.

Bonus safety tip: Try to cook all your food on the grill. This will consolidate all of your efforts outside and you won’t have to run back and forth between the patio and the kitchen. Cutting down on those nasty house fires that come up when you aren’t paying attention. ;-)

Have fun BBQing and save a burger for me.
