BAD NEWS! The car broke down…

GOOD NEWS, you have a emergency fund! Bad things happen. Are you prepared? It is recommend that you start with saving $1,000 at first and then move into 3-6 months of basic overhead. It can feel really overwhelming to have to come up with a emergency fund, but it is easier then you think. It is all about deciding that you want that safety net more then you want whatever is in front of you. So here is 3 ways you can do it without a lot of sacrifice.

  1. Start saving all of your change. Don’t ever give change to a cashier. My friends Trina and Ray do this and their family saves about $50.00 a month with this one easy step.
  2. Pick one habit that you spend money on every day and give it up. If you stop buying coffee or beverages when you are out, you can save at least $2.50 a day which is $75 a month.
  3. If you get paid every two weeks you will get a extra 2 pay checks a year. Put that money away like you never received it.

With these 3 easy step’s you will have your emergency fund in no time. Start today and you will get to a financial stress free life.
