3 Easy Tips to Feed your Piggy Bank

201999076_c3380eb06cI hear from people all the time that it is so hard to start saving. Well that is because they don’t have a anchor. They need to have something that will hold them to there goal. Let’s face it, saving just doesn’t sound that fun. But saving to pay for a car in cash; or having a safety fund set up so you don’t have to stress about the unavoidable things that pop up does. So here are a couple of simple ways that we can start chipping away at that savings plan.

1. Have the company that you work for take a small amount of money directly out of your check. This way you won’t miss it and you will get to you goal sooner.

2. Save all the change that you get back from stores and put it in a big container. This adds up quick. When you get $100 roll it up and put it in a savings account.

3. If you get paid every two weeks, you will have 2 extra paychecks a year. On those months, put half of the check on your mortgage principle (this one step can save you 8-12 years of payments on your mortgage); Put 35% to your savings plan, and spend 15% on your family for things that you need.

As you can see this plan really doesn’t have to be hard for you to implement. You just need to stay focused to your anchor and move forward every day.
